Lothar Götz: Wait Until Dark

Next month London based German artist, Lothar Götz will be exhibiting at the Chapter Gallery (from Friday 3 February until Sunday 3 April).

“His practice ranges in scale from site-specific wall paintings and room-sized spatial installations to paintings and drawings.” – Chapter Gallery

More information can be found in the Feb Chapter magazine or online.

As part of the exhibition Lothar has been commissioned to create artwork for the lightbox at the front of the Chapter building.
We are currently helping to prepare the artwork for the lightbox.

Alcatraz

We are delighted to announce that Nelmes Design has been approached by UKTV to design a press pack for the upcoming American (Fox Broadcasting) television series Alcatraz. You can view the trailer here.
It is produced by JJ Abrams the co-creator of Lost and director of films, Mission: Impossible III (2006), Star Trek (2009), and Super 8 (2011).

The series is due to premiere in Britain on Watch in early 2012.

Water Supporters

The Autumn leg of Earthfall’s At Swim Two Boys tour is coming to a close.
The Tour will begin again in the Spring of 2012.

In the meantime you can do your bit for a good cause. As you may or may not know the At Swim Two Boys production is staged entirely in water and it’s estimated that each show will use over 1000 litres of water.

The Earthfall “Water Supporter” campaign invites you to support the performance and our participation programme, whilst off-setting the commercial cost of the water, contributing this cost to the charity Water Aid.

Where television matters.

Last night PBS UK launched on Sky (channel 166) and Virgin (243). To celebrate the occasion a party was held at The Hosptial Club in Covent Garden. PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) has been broadcasting in America for 41 years and it plans to bring a new home for intelligent viewing, with serious documentaries, science and current affairs to the UK audience.

Nelmes Design were asked to design an invitation and press brochure for the launch party.
